The Veteran Family Program is a joint initiative between Veterans Affairs Canada and Military Family Services. The Veteran Family Program is a bilingual service that provides support to medically-released Veterans and their families to effectively prepare for and transition to civilian life.
**Each veteran and their family are unique and services will be tailored to meet those individual needs.

Many resources, in addition to the MFRC, are available to help you access important information and services before, during and after being released from the Canadian Armed Forces.
Trained Family Information Line counsellors offer confidential, bilingual information, referral and crisis support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and can help connect serving members, released Veterans and their families to resources. The Veteran Family Journal is a resource developed specifically to help ease the transition for medically-released Veterans and their families. It contains a comprehensible list of all the services and programs available for medically-released Veterans and their families and how to access them.
