As the COVID-19 coronavirus situation evolves, and based on the continued direction given by the Government of Ontario and Premier Doug Ford, the Trenton Military Family Resource Centre’s (MFRC) licensed child care in Trenton, Belleville, and Batawa remain closed indefinitely until further notice.

Additionally, the Trenton MFRC is closed to the public and all group programs/activities/courses are cancelled until further notice.

In order to continue with our focus on supporting military families, we will be hosting virtual webinars, groups, and programs on a variety of topics to remain connected with our community. The Military Family Services (MFS) programs and services will continue to be available through virtual or tele-appointments, specifically mental health counselling.

If you or someone you love needs mental health support during this time, please contact Stephanie Bédard at stephanie.b@trentonmfrc.ca or call 613-392-2811 ext. 4528.

Please be aware that this is an evolving situation and more changes may come. We will work hard to ensure that you have the most recent information as soon as possible. Please refer to our Facebook and Twitter pages and our website for future updates.

For questions about COVID-19, please refer to the Public Health Agency of Canada’s website:

https://www.canada.ca/en/public-health/services/diseases/coronavirus-disease-covid-19.html

Again, we have the health and safety of our community in mind, and we will continue to work hard to support military families.

We appreciate your patience and understanding.

Executive Director, Trenton Military Family Resource Centre
