Dealing with Conflict and Improving Communication in Personal Relationship
As a health promotion program and educational tool, INTER-COMM is preventive in nature and provides opportunities to improve knowledge and develop life-skills.
The INTER-COMM course examines conflict theory, communication styles and strategies and uses the Collaborative Communication Model to develop interest-based communication abilities. It allows the participant to develop positive attitudes and skills required to deal with conflict effectively.
Is Inter-Comm for you? Learning to deal with conflict by communicating in a family and community context is useful for everyone. As an informational and skill-building course, INTER-COMM is designed for a wide range of Canadian Forces personnel and their family members (over the age of 18).
April 17 and 18.
